Class AA
Really good players. Probably practice and bring their own paddles. May not drink on Saturday. Not so much on Friday. A winners move up and often regret it.
Class A
Pretty good players. Usually practice the day before. Will often borrow someone’s paddle and not give it back. A lot of Hofers left in this class which will often result in damage to the table, a paddle or both.
Jason Hofer Cody Parkovich Kim Mudrak
Jody Korch Aiden Bellisle Sam Larson
Scott Bell
Class B
Where to start. Friday night will be the first time they picked up a paddle the whole year. This class is characterized by illegal serves, inability to keep track of the score, a great deal of banter and beer breaks which results in matches that last a very long time. There are a number of players that have been in this class THEIR WHOLE LIVES. Did I mention illegal serves?
Emma Hofer Dustin Mudrak Palmer Kehoe
Dan McVane Amy Hofer-Parkovich Allie Stewart
Class CC
If there was a ping pong purgatory this would it. Created to account for those players who were getting bored in Class C but would never be able to return Gary Reno’s illegal serve, this class was created for them.
Tyler Cahill Connor Gleason Hunter Mans
Caleb Kleiman Cooper Conway Kevin Charlesworth
Class C
This class has it all. Players who ‘think I’m pretty good’ until them come down the stairs. Players who should have stayed spectators. Players who, well you’ll see. Actually some pretty good competition and usually the best dressed play in the tourney.
Austin Biehl Jodi Schultz Lucas Pederson
Tori Hofer Arikah Bellisle Joey Brosig
Iris Parrish Tess Mathais
Legacy
Class
The Players who epitomize the History of the Tournament. Many of the traditions were of their making and it will be as if you are looking back in time when their matches hit the table.
Anyway they are old so cut them some slack. Special rules, early matches yadda yadda. This should be fun.
